HOW PSYCHOTHERAPY WORKS

GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPY

Anything we invest in costs time and / or money. This si a decision to be considered and so is the frequency of meetings. We would contract around this. 

Medication is sometimes necessary if it helps stabilise a persons emotion and thinking. I have supported a number of people onto medication, whilst taking medication, and also when reducing. 

COUNSELING & TREATMENTS

Yes, therapy is confidential and we discuss this in the first meeting.

Yes, very effective. I have built many successful working relationships solely online. It is amazing what can be done.

A session lasts 1 hour. A therapeutic relationship may last between a few sessions and many years. We contract and review as we travel.

DBR therapy works by grounding in a safe space and slowing down shock and emotion responses to activating stimuli.

Gestalt coaching is a way to raise awareness of what and how we are in relationship with others at work.
