My Journey

I studied Psychology (University of Edinburgh, 2004-08) and was fascinated by human motivation, but felt I lacked the tools to help at that time.

While working in other fields, I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work, aiming to gain those skills.

While I valued my work with young people, I found the system restrictive for relational and empowering approaches.

This led me to study Gestalt Psychotherapy (since 2007).
Currently, I operate a private practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor, trainer, and consultant, integrating Gestalt and neuroscience in my trauma work. I find my work fulfilling and look forward many more years continuing in the filed.

Through engaging with me you will experience:

  • A relationship that is based on presence and commitment to dialogue. This means you I will include myself in the cocreation of a relationship that is unique.
  • An opportunity to tap on your inner resources: Uncovering your resilience and build a foundation of self-compassion, allowing you to face challenges with greater ease.
  • Nurturing Flow: We all grow towards the sun, but sometimes we get overshadowed. Learning to look inside to cultivate inner dialogue, work through painful processes, and manifest potential gives us opportunity to live life filled with greater purpose and joy.

Presence, connection, play, hard work, and purpose – my keystones to living positively.

DBR Trauma Therapy

DBR Therapy is a trauma based approach that helps people safely work through trauma symptoms of shock, and difficult emotions, and reorient relational patterns. The brain has a natural ability to reorient, just like a flower or a tree grows towards the sun. In DBR we attempt to reorient from a state of threat and dysregulation to a state of safety and balance. This is achieved via following the AS-OT-SH-A process.

Supervision is a space for psychotherapists to gain understanding of their work with clients. Our dialogue is aimed at deepening relational and clinical work. Through dialogue new insights emerge with the potential to positively impact the psychotherapy.
